Hi, all! I'm back....got way-laid by month-end! ;(
Jessee....thanks for the suggestions. I tried the website....no
help....couldn't find my exact problem. Both computers are running on Win
98. I've checked and we are both in the same workgroup for the network and
both computers are marked for full sharing privileges.
Any other ideas??? Anyone?????
TIA!!!

First of all, what Operating System is the system running?
Next, with this information ... Have you tried checking out Microsoft's
Support website and typing the error in there. This method of tackling a
problem such as this is very effective and efficient and --->FREE<---
(imagine that, something free from Microsoft, I see the flying pigs).
Anyways, try that out, the support address is: http://support.microsoft.com
Select you're product and type in the error you receive word for word, or
error number (those are even better to type in) and click on Go. 95% of the
time the problem appears in the list of articles, then they explain the
problem, the reason the problem happens, and the --->Step-by-step<--- way to
fix the problem. :)

Need help from the IT gurus of the list! :)
I backup the data from an employee's computer via the network - he doesn't
have a zip on his computer and I do. I've never had a problem until the new
year started. Now, anything he creates gives me the following error
message...."Error Copying File...Cannot Copy <filename>: The directory or
file cannot be created." I'm doing the backup via Windows Explorer....click
and drag.
TIA for any thoughts, ideas. Please keep it as simple as possible....I'm
one of those dreaded bean-counters! :)
