I know they say that I need to install the Epicor client in order to use DMT. But I’d rather not. It’s over 1GB. I’d rather just have a small folder to drop in the C drive and call it a day.
Does anyone know what is the minimum necessary for DMT?

You need any DLL that you’re trying to upload and probably a few general purpose ones as well.
DMT is the client. I don’t think you can get around it until there is a REST-based DMT. 
BTW, a “cloud” DMT would accept the whole file from a source and run at the server which would make it MUCH faster than the current version.
OK, I was wondering about that.
So that’s the trickier part I guess.
Hey, I’m totally for the cloud version. I have voted for that idea. I did not consider that it would be doing it all on the server, and that does sound wonderful. Good to know!
