Epicor says this is a bug in the conversion to 5.20 and there is a fix
program special for it. So it looks like something in the data causes some
to be ignored by selection screens. I should have a copy of the fix
tomorrow and know more about what the issue is.

We have seen a similar problem when we were on version 4.00 of Vantage. We
ended up having to do an IDXBUILD on all the indexes for the system. It
really wasn't that tough to do and corrected the problem. I'm thinking you
are having an indexing problem. It's strange that Support didn't jump on
that band wagon... they may know something we don't?
I'm also thinking we had to run an IDXBUILD when upgrading to version 5.00
It was part of the standard procedures.

I called support on this but their computers are down and they can't
investigate at the moment so thought perhaps someone in the group would know
about this.
Somewhere in the conversion to 5.20.210 we have lost about 25% of our
customers from any customer selection screen. For example when entering an
order if you click on the magnifying glass to get a list of customers many
of them are not there. Can't see them in Customer Maintenance either. But
if I pull up an order for a missing customer and right-click to Customer
Tracker it pulls them up fine. All the info is there.
When I called Epicor they thought it was related to CRM (which we do not
have) and something to do with the Territory or Region. I have found, with
RB, that all the missing customers have a TaxRegion = 0001 and all the
visible ones have nothing for TaxRegion. If I change a visible customer to
0001 it stays visible so this correlation might be a coincidence. The new
customer type on all the missing ones is all over the place but mostly CUS
(but a lot of SUS too) and I've set selection filter to <ALL>. BTW -
Haven't figured out the difference between Prospect and Suspect customer
yet.
Even if I figure out what causes this I can't get into customer maintenance
for the missing customer because the main screen does not allow manual entry
of an ID, just selection from the list. But I was wondering if anyone else
on or testing 5.20 has seen or fixed this.
