Missing Inventory Step?

I am just curious - Did you find out why it posted for a different time
period?

I'm running V6.00.524.

I've just completed an inventory and posted the group. Everything seems
fine. BUT I know I'm missing something.

Last December I did exactly the same process, and in February my general
accountant discovered a huge list of December transactions for which he
had to change the dates so he could post them. Then I discovered our
transaction history showed the December inventory adjustments were all
dated Feb 1. Yikes!

What step have I missed?

Doesn't sound like you missed any. Can you check your inventory
transaction history for an item that the quatity changed and see if the
transaction posted to the correct date. Should post the day you created
the group. Not really the actual day you post but the day the count is
generated.
