Mix & Match Pricing

Greetings,

Is anyone using Price Groups to do Mix & Match Pricing? Or is there another system tool that is setup to handle this situation?

We have an assortment of similar parts that are all priced the same. We want to offer a discount when any combination of 6 of these parts are ordered. What is the best way to accomplish this?

Probably best to solve that problem on an ecommerce site/portal for your customers to order from and the order comes into Epicor already priced the way you want it.

Looks like it’s tied into Product Group…so as long as those assorted similar parts are in their own PG you might be OK setting up there…otherwise all products within the group would be included in the 6.

EDIT - or take the suggestion from @hackaphreaka - let your ecomm site manage that piece and accept the prices as-is

How many price lists to you have setup already, how many product groups do you have and how many customer groups do you have?

If you are wanting a blanket group of parts to apply for all customers, then you are stuck with creating a price list and applying it to each customer group or all customers individually.

If you are wanting to do Discounts then you can also apply a discount price list to the customer or customer group levels.

Doing it at the Ecommerce level may make more sense as mentioned earlier

To be honest, I have never used discount price lists, and the best suggestion is jump onto your pilot or demo system and test it out.
