Modify Existing Filters on Reports

You can then create a dynamic parameter using the partnum field.

The crystal prompt page will appear and give you a list of all the partnum's
in the dataset for you to choose one or more of.

Would it be possible, at least on the Stock Status Report, to duplicate
the RDD and the Crystal Report and then add a parameter field in the
Crystal Report itself? There is no way to monkey with the Time Phased
Report. The only thing to do there is turn on the tracer and write your
own, which would not be an easy task in my opinion.

As far as I know, you cannot add filters to Report Data Definitions even
if you duplicate them. You must create your own BAQ duplicating the
query (if possible).

I need to blank out our PartPlant.buyerid. I have a service connect
application to populate the field, but am unable to blank it out. I
have tried just leaving the column blank in my csv file (result of which
was it staying the same), I have tried an invalid entry (tried #, it
filled in as <None Selected>, but was actually recording # in the
field), tried spaces and tabs in the csv (still just leaves the field as
is).

Any ideas?

Thanks

There have been posts on this before, but I have never tried it. Here
is what I gleaned off of the group.

Enter this as your Rowmod value on your update. [Clear=BuyerID], and
don't map any data to that element. It should blank the fields for you.

I hate to bother everyone, but we use MSN.com as our homepage when opening Internet Explorer. Is anyone else seeing delays on this site opening.
Out of 10 tries to open the site I might be able to access it once, but other websites seem to be okay. I am wondering if I have a DNS or other problem or its their sight.
Thanks for your help.

Thanks Len and Paul for your help. I'm starting to wonder if I have a problem with a
DNS server in the Dayton Oh area.

Are you trying to run it for a specific part or do you want to select a
bunch of parts and not an entire inventory class. There is no sense in
running the reports for a specific part since you have the right click
for each off of the part number. So I have to figure you want to run it
for a specific list of parts outside of the part class.

I have not been able to do it in V8 or E9. I have been able to pass a
single parameter (like a date) but not a filter.
