MRP After Hours?

I have developed scripts using a third party scripting tool called Winbatch,
to execute MRP, PO Suggestions, and the Stock Status Report in 5.1 during
off hours. The key is to have it run Vantage interactively and use a mouse
click on a favorites bar icon to launch the desired app. I can provide the
scripts to you if you'd like, they should be easily adapted to 5.2 if
necessary.

I chose WinBatch over other freeware or lower cost scripting tools because
it has fairly good error handling, was fairly straight forward to write and
can be compiled into an exe file to distribute to other systems without
licensing the final nodes.

Unfortunately you need to imbed a username and password into the script
which is a bit of a security concern. I created a utility user to run just
those items I want to run automatically so I feel fairly sure that my
Vantage database can't be compromised (at least this way).

I assume there should be a way to execute these procedures using a Progress
program but Epicor does not provide a way that I know of to do this.
