MRP originally submitted date and safety stock required date

I think you'll need to reschedule it using a dynamic start date as "today" (just check the dynamic box before scheduling it).  Then when MRP runs, it will use the current day instead of the static date that you originally entered.

Good Morning,

We are on Epicor9.05.607B, running MRP nightly via task agent.

When safety stock falls below zero and a purchasing, job, or transfer suggestion is done, it uses the date of our original MRP process submission.  Therefore, our suggestions to achieve safety are all noted with required date of 6/2012!!  It can be useful for divvying up safety vs not safety reqs, but it drives other things in a bad way, and I'm tired of it :)

Is there a setting (that I'm missing obviously) to ensure that the required date isn't just inherited form the MRP submission date from years ago?

Thanks
