MRP: Part contains resources for a different site

I’ve got an assembly that was setup with its revision in site AA.
I now want to build it in site BB.
I’ve created a sales order in site BB which creates demand in site BB.
I’ve created an Alternate Method on the assembly for site BB, which is just for the sake of replacing the Operations with resource groups for site AA with equivalent Operations with resource groups for site BB.
It is a multi-level BOM but there are only operations at the top level.
I’ve created Alternate Methods for the each subassembly also.
I’ve checked the box in Eng Workbench to “Use Alternate Method for Parts” on top-level and subassemblies.
But no matter what, when I run MRP, I get the “Part contains resources for a different site” error below, and I’m hopeful one of you mavens can tell me why.

Just a guess, but is use part rev checked on the part? I don’t know how alternates play into this.

Use Part Rev

Select this check box if the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) should use the highest (most current) revision available of the part. If the check box is selected, an entry of the part number automatically specifies the most current revision.

If you clear this check box, you can manually create demand in MRP for different revisions of the same part, and the Epicor application honors the different revisions.

This option does not apply to requirements for stock. This check box has no effect if you do not use MRP.

‘Use Part Rev’ is Checked.

I think I found the problem, though. MRP wasn’t using the Alternate Method until I entered it into the Part-Site > Planning tab > Primary Alternate Method field.

Now it is generating an unfirm job as expected and components demand in the new site.
