Our production manager just noted this this morning, since recent update 2024.2.5 → When we process MRP, the process goes to “Scheduled Tasks” rather than Active and never actually runs (even though the time on the scheduled tasks has ran).
Task Agent is running, and I have restarted it. Any ideas or others having the same issue?
Upon further looking into this, I’m seeing the 4 times that we processed the MRP in the system agent (in system agent), they are appearing as IMMEDIATE, but the time is off on them. It’s showing them running about 6 hours from now (even though immediate). The time on the server itself is accurate… In company maintenance the time zone is accurate as well… hmmm.
Our main IT guy is on this now. I’ll update you. Looks like the Server Task Agent was Green, but actually was in a state of restarting (yellow). We are attempting to figure this out. I’ll let you know the results. If you have any other ideas in the mean time… Happy Friday!
Okay; here is what fixed: The main issue was we had a mismatch on the EAC between .100 and the new .200. We had to unregister all of the app servers - and reregister them with the new .200 console. This allowed us to create the task agent.
