Multi Company Menu Suppression

Did you try logging on as a user the doesn't have access to Company B or C to see if the Company A BAQ report appears on the menu? My memory may be faulty, but I think I remember reading that if you have access to all companies you will always see all options no matter which company's menu you're looking at, but people that don't have access to all companies will see the "filtered" menu items. People with access to multiple companies may always have cluttered menus.

Good morning.  I'm toying around with Multi-Company in my E9.05 Test environment (9.05.702A).  I have 3 companies established.

I figured this would be easy, but I'm having a difficulty:  I have a BAQ Report for Company A.  I got into Menu Maint in Company A, added it to the menu (Production Mgmt/Job Mgmt/Reports) like I always do and the BAQ report works just fine in Company A.  

I do NOT want to see this menu option in Company B or Company C.  ONLY in Company A.

I see in Menu Maint under the detail tab that there's a checkbox for Curr Company Only; but it is greyed out.

So I thought maybe it had something to do with the Security that my new menu record was tied to.  So I created a new SecurityID and I see that the Security ID record also has a checkbox that says "Current Company Only" and I was able to check that off.  So now my new BAQ Report menu item is assigned to my new Security ID and saved it and relaunched Epicor and same thing -- I can still see the BAQ Report hanging on the menu in Comp B and Comp C.  

Am I missing something obvious??

How can I suppress menu items in other companies?  Not every BAQ report I have will apply to the other companies and it clutters up the menus.
