Multi-Company, Multi-Plant and the Multi-Site Module - What to

Sorry - I didn't look far enough down into my unread messages and see
the "Multi-Site" string from yesterday! I'll see if any of the
responses answer my questions!

Thanks!

Subject: [Vantage] Multi-Company, Multi-Plant and the Multi-Site Module
- What to do

If any of you have experience with multiple sites, I would appreciate
any feedback.

We have 2 locations in Indiana ("-200" division) and one in Illinois
("-400" division) - same tax ID number. We want to implement Vantage at
our Illinois division (we have been using Vantage in Indiana for several
years now, using warehouses/bins to separate part locations).
Currently, IL has their own scheduling & invoicing system, however, all
of their A/P invoices are mail to and paid from the IN division via
Vantage. At the end of every month, I book sales, inventory change, and
other items necessary to generate financial statements for our IL
division via Vantage. In addition, we use the inventory interface. We
plan on implementing Vantage payroll in the upcoming months, which will
need to all be handled by the IN division.

QUESTION:

Do we need to purchase the Multi-Site module in order to continue to
generate separate financials for each division? I believe we can
segregate the different inventories, however, I don't know how/if
Vantage would be able to differentiate inventory costs between the two
divisions COGS accounts.

Sincerely,

Rick Ludwig
