I’ve noticed that if you make a new part, but use a PartNum that was previously used {OTF Part), a lot of the fields default to values from it’s OTF use.
What dictates which prior use is used for the defaults? Is there a BO order preference (Sales > Job > PO, etc …), or is it just the most recent use?
We run into this most often when a make to order part is made in Plant A, but must be shipped from plant B. So a Transfer Order is required, which requires a Part entry with Qty Bearing.
