New user getting 'EDD is not currently online' error

Using a published homepage layout, all our users can see a Discovery Chart View… apart from one. He was added as a new user a few weeks ago, and the chart has been constantly greyed out for him. If I try to add it again manually, I get ‘EDD is not currently online’… but it’s working for every other user.
Any ideas how I can fix this? TIA!

Had a response from EpicCare on this one that’s solved it:

  1. Navigate to User Account Security Maintenance within Kinetic
  2. Select the user that is affected
  3. Then expand System Access
  4. Ensure that ‘Allow API V1’ is enabled
  5. Save
  6. Advise the user to log out and log back in and they should now be able to access Data Discovery
