We’re currently using Kinetic version 2025.2.10.
I would like to learn if there’re easier ways for us to be linking non-inventory purchase orders to a job? Ideally we’d like to be able to simply use the ‘Job’ field in ‘Release Details’ of the purchase order, without having to raise a demand for it (we’re not up to that stage of consistent production).
Any suggestions is much appreciated!
Check out Requisition Entry. You can create a req for a part and link it to a job.
Once approved this will add the part to job and create a buy direct PO suggestion.
Hi Zack, thanks for your message. For Parts, we use the Issue material to jobs and find that working fine, but more for PUR-UKNs that we do for jobs. What would be a way that we can purchase ‘other’ to jobs? thanks!
Requisition Entry will allow you to enter non part master part
You will need to have at least one part class setup that allows Requisitions
