Null/Empty value for usercode or combobox

Is there a way to have a null/blank value for a combobox in a customization? The combobox uses usercodes. Everything is working right, except right now if a user chooses one of the options from the dropdown box and saves, there is no way to reverse it if it was an error. Im not sure if there is a combobox property that I just need to find or if its something that needs to be done on the usercode side.

Can’t you just go into the combobox, select the text and use delete? Then save it? I know I’ve done that in many of them.
