Occasional Printing Problems

I'm getting the same line from them now. We only have problems printing job
travelers, and we don't preview either. (If we do a preview the barcodes
don't print.) So, I'm still playing the hotfix and re-install drivers game.

Hasn't anybody else had this problem with printing job travelers in v4???

to print, it's ok. However, if we preview it, we get an error, "none or the
widgets in the wait-for statement are case sensitive..." and Vantage freezes
up. The user then has to use task manager to exit progress and restart
vantage. Sometimes the print preview works then and sometimes it doesn't.
For us, too, this does not occur every time we preview, but it does occur
often enough on many clients for it to be very annoying. It has happened to
us on the job traveler and less frequently on the customer packing slip, but
not any other forms that I know of. We called Epicor support about this
many times when it first started happening (a week after we upgraded to 4.0
last July), we NEVER had this problem, not once, when we were on 3.0.
However, they blamed it on our network, and that was it. so, our solution
has been 'Don't preview'.

Has anybody run into occasional Job Traveler printing problems in version 4?

We have HP LaserJet printers on JetDirect Print Servers. Clients PCs range
from Windows 95 to Windows 2000. It happens to my local users and to remote
users connected to Windows 2000 with Terminal Services and Citrix.

Users will print a Job Traveler and their system will freeze after they
select the printer, then Vantage closes. They re-start Vantage and go into
the same job # and print with no problem. They will be able to print 4, 6,
0r 8 more times, then they get the same freeze up. This only happens when
printing Job Travelers.

I have seen no error messages of any type to explain what's going on.

Any Ideas anybody?
