ODBC - connecting thru MS Access Reserved Error -7748 Epicor 9.0

You need to add some registry entries.  This is what works for me.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER || Software || ODBC || ODBC.INI || "your odbc connection"

HKEY_Users || Software || ODBC || ODBC.INI || "your odbc connection"

In both locations add WorkArounds  with a value of 1048576 and WorkArounds2 with a value of 8192

We have gotten to where ODBC seems to be installed correctly, the Test Connect works,  and from within Access I can see the table list and choose a table to connect to, however when I try to actually connect to that tables I get a MS Access error:  Reserved Error 9-7748): there is no message for this error.
 
From the searching I did I came across a solution to edit the registry to add a workarounds2 entry, which we tried but that did not work and upon further reading it appears that this worked with XP and not Windows 7.
 
If anyone has a solution to this I would
be beyond appreciative!
