Off Topic: IS Manager opening

We are a small but growing ISO-9002 manufacturer in the "Wriglyville" (near
north) area of Chicago. We will soon break ground on a new plant about 5
miles west of our present location (present location will be closed). We've
also purchased another manufacturing company in Ohio and, due to promotion,
have an opening for an IS person. We've been on Vantage for almost two
years and will be putting our Ohio company into our database as a separate
company.

We have three Chicago locations connected with T1's, two NT domain
controllers, a separate proxy server and DSL for internet access, a dual
processor App server for Vantage, and a brand new dual processor Citrix
server for Ohio and remote connections. We have a 20 user Vantage license
that will probably increase by 10 or 15 once Ohio ramps up. All servers are
relatively new Compaqs and cabling is all CAT5. We also have CAD, CAM,
Faxserve, Backup Exec, Harbinger EDI, Crystal Reports and Gauge tracking
software.

There is a team in place to implement Vantage in Ohio but we will assist and
provide guidance as necessary. They will connect to our Citrix server with
an internet T1.

I'm looking for someone familiar with Vantage and NT that wants to stretch
themselves a little. The right person must also be willing to learn new
things and attend (paid) training as needed to upgrade their skills. You
will assist & monitor Ohio's implementation in the short term but take on
some challenging local projects including:

- Data collection (not started)
- MRP (not started)
- Report writer and Crystal Report work
- EDI (currently 830, 850, 856 using Access ODBC routines to export
to Harbinger)
- Document Association (mostly prints) (not started)
- Improved & more detailed procedures
