Mitchell,
Thanks for the reply.
I have used Partition Magic many times in the past and it works just great.
However, it will not work on Windows NT Server or Windows 2000 Server. I
did more research and finally ordered Volume Manager from Power Quest.
Volume Manager is the replacement for Server Magic which is also made by
Power Quest. However, the price will sure get your attention. It is right
at $800!!!.

I just finished using Partition Magic to expand the root partition of a
WinNT box. Other than it took 3 hours, one call to tech support, and one
download from their web site, it worked just fine. I like the software,
some of my problems were related to NT and some were the "I have never done
this before blues".
The tech support hold was very short, and the tech was very knowledgeable.
He seemed surprised that I didn't know to convert the partition from FAT to
NTFS first before trying to expand it. The manual didn't really say to do
it first, it sort of assumed you knew that up front.
But it worked fine, the data was all there when I was done and the second
time should go much faster now that I know what I am doing.
