Aaron,

I will let you know what we come up with - You are correct it is only
from
word that we are experiencing the problem also. What version of word
are
you using?

Dina,

I have seen this on my machine printing to an HP 4000. Mine cut off the
page as if it was printed landscape. The next time I printed it was
fine. I don't want to speculate much about a reason, but that XP
machine is not alone. As a solution, we set up an additional printer
using the Postscript driver. That one is slow, but works. It is funny,
because it is only from word that the problem exists, and only to the
one printer, and none of the other 3 identical printers I can print to
and then it is only once in a while. If it helps, this is set up via a
JetDirect card, and I don't have any special rights to the printer that
I am aware of, and I am running XP SP1.

If you do nail something down, please do let me know.

I have one XP machine that when it prints to an HP 5000GN from Microsoft
word - the user receive an error - margins incorrect - His options are
Fix
or Ignore. If we choose Fix it changes my bottom margin to 7 or 8".
But
then it cuts off the text that should be there. It does not even send
it to
the next page.

Has anyone else seen this or know of a solution. I have
installed/reinstalled new and old printer drivers. We have 10 machines
with
the same exact configuration that does not experience these problems
printing to the same printer. (also the same printer driver). It does
not
do this every single time.
