Off Topic - Shoretel Phone System?

Anyone want to comment on their network infrastructure? Who's running Shoretel on a non-VLAN network? Just wondering if anyone has experienced problems by keeping voice and data on the same network.

Anyone out there using a Shoretel phone system? Likes, dislikes? I'm coming to the end of a phone RFP and am trying to figure out how they stack up against Toshiba.

Jen
We have had a Shoretel system for two years and are very happy with it and all its functionality. The office anywhere function is very nice, the integration with Exchange is great!

I have to agree with this 99%!

Only downside is cost of a phone to be able to be gigabit network instead of
100 megabit, but I don't think that's really that big a concern for the
majority of users in most companies.

We purchased a Shoretel system last year and I love it. You will need
to update your switches to POE. If you have Gigabit network cards you
will either need to get a gigabit phone or run another cable for your
PC.

Jen,

We have been using a Shoretel system for 2 years now and we love it.
Easy to manage, integrates well with Outlook, has softphone capabilites
for remote workers, etc. I would recommend Shoretel for anyone using
VoIP.

Anyone out there using a Shoretel phone system? Likes, dislikes? I'm
coming to the end of a phone RFP and am trying to figure out how they
stack up against Toshiba.
