I just wrapped initial development of a new set of configurators for a product line we’re launching in a few months. Spent a few hours this morning running rule tests in rule entry, and feeling good about the results, I decided to run a real test quote only to have a different (obsolete) configurator for a completely different machine that has NEVER been connected to that part pop up when I hit configure on the line item.
Figuring I must have messed up the setup somehow, I went into Part and checked the revision. The correct configurator was, indeed, tied to the part I was attempting to configure in the quote.
So I went through the entire set of assembly parts and confirmed that their revisions were all tied to the correct new configurators. Then I went back into quote and attempted to configure them all there. All 14 are pulling the same wrong configurator.
Has anyone else experienced anything like this? We’re on-prem 2023.2, but planning to upgrade to 2025.1 before launch. I’m having our IT guy mirror live onto test so I can see if this occurs in the latest version next week, but in the meantime I’m curious what the community thinks of this. I’m at a total loss for what to try next.
