Is it possible to set the format of the bill of material to match the order of operations in production? Or is that determined in the kit/assembly’s initial setup?
Similar question on the order entry side. Can the order entry process be made to match the warehouse/production order of operations? We have a customer that orders roughly 4 combinations of the same items 90+ percent of the time; there is significant variability in the way our pick tickets print out which creates opportunities for errors when our pickers or production staff are processing the orders. Would the result I’m looking for be best achieved through zone and sequence assignement in location/bin maintenance?
