If you are using DHCP to obtain an IP address on the client, and the
DHCP server is also providing the address for the default gateway,
the client settings will be blank under the TCP/IP properties for
gateway. You could, however enter a bogus IP address on the client
for the gateway - this will override anything providided by the DHCP
server, and the client will receive an error message when attempting
to reach any addresses outside your network.

particular files it has. I don't want the workstation to have
internet access. The gateway to the Internet is the same server
that has the Vantage database on it. Yeah, I know, it's not the best
thing to do, but I had to do it. How do I disable the gateway on this
computer so he doesn't get Internet access?
