Ot: java

The Progress RDBMS is entirely java based (see the jre folder in the
Progress directory) allowing their cross platform capabilities. I would
assume that Open Edge will follow the same path since they are touting it's
cross platform capabilities as well. Given that, you should be able to use
the full J2EE toolset including Swing, Struts, RMI, JDBC, etc. to build
whatever you want on top of their business tier.

Subject: [Vantage] OT: JAVA

Getting a little more tools under the tool belt and I am just getting ready
to finish my JAVA Programming classes.
Has anyone heard if Epicor will incorporate any JAVA Technologies in any of
the new releases of Vantage?
