Mid-size manufacturing company with five plant locations (70 office and 11 data collection logins) is looking for someone with software and database administration experience to support the data and information needs of the company. This person is responsible for development and maintenance of reports from our Vantage 6.1 database using Report Builder, Business Activity Query, Crystal Reports, and R&R Report Builder (Vantage Payroll). Additionally, this person will support and troubleshoot all software programs owned by the company and develop new programs in Visual Basic as needed. Experience with the Vantage Product Configurator is helpful.
This person will help us migrate to Vantage version 8 through the conversion of Report Builder reports to Crystal and develop front-end customizations using the Visual Studio .Net framework.
Must be a team player who can perform as the network administrator's backup in his absence by maintaining a working knowledge of phone systems and computer systems including hardware, operating systems, data backup systems and networks.
