The Manager, ERP is responsible for coordinating the implementation of new applications, training company

 

staff on the use of the Business Systems and coordinating support to end users. Additionally, incumbent will

 

assist with identifying improvement opportunities for optional processes in support of best practices across all

 

functional areas with the Company.

 

Responsibilities

 

• Assists with defining, developing, and implementing comprehensive long term Business System plan.

 

• Assists with developing business practices and processes in support of the company goals.

 

• Assists with consultation with management to determine information requirements, system capacity,

 

hardware/software acquisitions, determines boundaries and prioritizes projects.

 

• Manages development, production and support activities of Business System systems.

 

• Confers with department management involved with projects to ensure cooperation and further define

 

project’s nature and requirements.

 

• Manages project assignments, schedules and delegates work to project members.

 

• Prepares progress reports to inform management of project status and deviations from goals.

 

• Communicates with and coordinates activities of outside service providers and clients.

 

• Manages the training programs of all associates on the Business System.

 

• Travel to remote facilities may be required 10-25% of the time.

 

• Other duties as assigned by management.

 

• Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.

 

• Compliance with applicable Company policies concerning maintaining a drug free workplace is

 

required.

 

• Compliance with all Company policies is required including all safety policies and procedures.

 

Education/Experience

 

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university and 5 years related experience and/or training; or

 

equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

• Experience Requirements: The candidate must have at least 5 years’ experience with ERP Systems in

 

manufacturing environment as well as extensive experience with Project Management.

 

• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ previous management experience.

 

• Experience administrating and supporting PC networks

 

• Experience with utilizing ALL Microsoft Office Products

Business System Software: Current Business System software is Role Based ERP version 9.3

 

from Workwise, Inc. and is a true ERP system (Enterprise Resource Planning).

 

Business System Platform: The Business Systems software resides on a series of Windows

 

servers running MS Server 2003/2008, Citrix and SQL Server 200X. This system is integrated

 

across the Corporation via a MPLS WAN.
