Payroll - Class/Supervisor Id

Thanks...just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing the obvious.
"working as designed" which means I will be maintaing the supervisor id.

Vantage 8.03

How does one set the superivsor id when the user setting up the employee does not have access supervisor's payroll class?

User has access to the Payroll classes: Weekly, Contract Labor.
The supervisor belongs to the Payroll class: Semi-Monthly.
Upper management will not give the user access to the Semi-Monthly payroll class.

Any hints or suggestions to a work around...
