Payroll Hours-Minutes

Thanks, everybody, this was a real DUH on my part -- DspClockInTime and
OutTime is just what I need.

Look at DspClockInTime and DspClockOutTime, may be what you need.

If not, how about something like...

HourHundredChar = string(HourHundred).
HourMin = substring(HourHundredChar,1,2) + ":" + string(integer
(substring(HourHundredChar,4,2)) * .6)

...I didn't test it, but it should be close.

Hi!

Well, your testimonials about not having time clocks really helped, now I
have a related challenge:

Is there a way to convert the Vantage time (in Report Builder) from
Hours.Hundredths to Hours.Minutes? The gal who will be doing the time
reporting into our ADP system is used to minutes (what the time clock says)
instead of hundredths of hours. I've been puzzling over this for a couple
of days, so I thought it was time to ask the experts. I know a simple
calculation would work on the hundredths:minutes side, but can't figure out
what to do about the hours. Anybody done this already, have a hint or think
I should give it up?

Thanks and happy Friday!

Lydia,

Check out Config Maintenance, company, your company, Module Config, Job
Management config, labor/time format.
I think this changes it across the board.

Try:
Clock_In_Time_HH = integer(ClockInTime)
Clock_In_Time_MM = (ClockInTime - integer(ClockInTime)) * 60
