Perspectives 2006 questions

Several years ago I nade a point of arriving on Saturday in order to be early in line for registering for labs. Then they added a sign-up feature on-line but it was still good to arrive and confirm early on Sunday. Now, with this "pre-registration" priority thing this rush to get in-line and get the labs I want (on the day I want) is much lessened (I think). But...I still plan on arriving late Saturday afternoon. Sometimes the airfare is less (Saturday stayover) and can almost cover the hotel cost. With most people checking in on Sunday you have a little better edge on room selection on Saturday - especially later in the day when the casino hosts release their weekend room holds. Another benefit is casual hallway meets with other Vantage users. The only events I recall on Sunday (aside from Golf which I can't afford anyway) were a couple afternoon labs and a reception type event in the evening.

Hi All,

I just pre-registered for Perspectives 2006. This is my first year
attending and I have a newbie question.

Should I plan on arriving the day before (October 21st) or is getting
there on the 22nd ok?

In other words, do the events actually start of the 22nd?

Thanks,

Joe Rojas

The agenda for 2006 hasn't been released yet (as far as I know), but if
it is the same as last year... Sunday is the golf tournament and
registration day. Last year there were also a couple of sessions in
the afternoon on Sunday. If you are playing golf you probably would
need to get in Saturday, if not, arriving Sunday should be ok -
assuming it is the same as last year.

The agenda from last year is on the Epicor website.

Hi, I have attended many perspectives conferences for
the dataflo product and a mid morning sunday arrival
is usually good enough...usually on sunday they have
sig groups meet (special interest groups) We are
moving to V8 from dataflo with a Nov 1 go live date,
so we won't be there this year.
