Plant Floor Data Collection

We use Vantage Plant Floor Data collection in our shop. One of our shop employees asked if they could review their weeks work in the system. I can see it in shop tracker, but shop tracker is not an option in the plant floor module. Does anybody have any ideas? Can you add shop tracker to the plant floor module? Job and part tracker are already there. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am new to Vantage and we are currently setting up our test database. In our previous system we had employee time sheets print out for review at the time the employee logged out for the day. Our process was that they reviewed their time sheet, made any corrections, signed off and turned them into their supervisor to review and then turn into accounting for editing.

In Vantage employees cannot print out their time sheets. My boss has informed me this is not acceptable and was wondering how other companies handle when employees know they have made an error such as forgetting to punch out of a job or operation. Does anyone have their employees sign off on their time sheets?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Cheryl

For the first 90 days we printed one labor edit report for each employee after the end of the work week. They signed off on it on Monday morning and it was then sent to payroll for processing. After the employees got comfortable with the new process everyone decided it was no longer necessary.

Cheryl,

We did the same as Kim - for about six months employees supervisor
checked their times but after that it was a decided they did not need to
do that. If an employee forgets to clock out of a job - he completes a
form and turns it in to job costing department (the same day he forgot)
- they correct the time. I honestly can not tell you the last time this
has happened.

We have 3 'time clocks' .
2 are Data collection licenses.
One is a full Vantage license. On the full license station we have a labor report which workers can view anytime.
It show them their current clock-in / out time for the pay period and their acculalated hours.
Yes, they see everyone's time but no rates.
Seems to work well for us.
