Plastic Injection Molding

Thank you for your response. Yes, in the molding operation we may create 2+different parts. We are new to Epicor and are in the middle of creating and validating our Test company. I prefer to have the part built in correctly in order to get correct costs associated with each part, instead of having to make adjustments every time at the job level. Less thinking during scheduling and automating the process is the goal!Â

So in one operation you create multiple part numbers? Perhaps multi-part jobs would work for you.

What is the best way to set up the MOM for a 1+1(LH RH, Upper Lower etc..) mold in Epcior? Would it be to build them in seperately, then batch them as a job for manufacturing? If so, what would you say the standard per hour would be for each if the cycle time is 55 seconds? Any input is appreciated!
