Please help - urgent

I had the same situation here a few months ago and had to update my Cisco router to route the new set of addresses (my ISP, UUNET, helped me setup the router), then on the client put the default gateway as the router. They started working fine then.

Does other networking work? Can you ping the server, or see it in network
neighborhood? That would narrow it down to Vantage specific vs general
network.

IIRC, there is some option in the client setup like "use dynamic name
resolution." Perhaps that hard codes an IP address somewhere
(vantage.ini?) rather than use name lookup?

Let us know what happens. I'm probably going to have to do the same
exercise here soon!

We no longer allow attachments to files. To access/share Report Files, please go to the following link: http://www.egroups.com/files/vantage/
(Note: If this link does not work for you the first time you try it, go to www.egroups.com, login and be sure to save your password, choose My Groups, choose Vantage, then choose Files. If you save the password, the link above will work the next time you try it.)

Hi all,

I am switching all IP addresses to a new set and Vantage doesn't
work. Epicor technicians are off today. What file should we run and
how to make the Vantage recognize the new IP addresses of all
workstations. I think it should be run at the server but really not
sure which file and how. It is 1 PM Sat Calif. time. SOS...SOS
You can give me a call and I'm sure we can straighten this out. I'll be in
the office all afternoon.

Thanks,

Thanks Mark but I received your message too late. I'll redo all the
switch on Monday after work and will call epicor.

Thanks again.
