when i am creating req entry and then from po suggestion i am creating po then in the newly created po in epicor kinetic part desc gets changed automatically. in req entry the desc is same as in part master but when po is generated then desc is of another part . how to solve this in epicor kinetic.. This issue i am facing in live
Is the requisition referencing a job? If so, it may default to the material description on the job and not the description from the part master.
No.. Requisition is not referencing job.
using this version of epicor.Kinetic 2024.1.11 and version 11.3.100.0
Are there any supplier parts related, just a guess, but thought I would suggest it.

good call. a supplier price list with a supplier part description may override.

There’s a cross reference somewhere. Write a BAQ and check the part against all 3 of the PartXRef tables.
