I’m attempting to create a new Data Rule that sets a UD field to Read Only, though when looking to set the Action Field I’m stuck with “[object Object]”
I’ve setup a Data View for the UD field. I have Regened and restarted, but am looking for where I went wrong. Any insight?
Make sure you’ve selected the Data View your UD Field is in as the Action Data View, then you can type the name of the field - you don’t have to select it from the dropdown.
So when you typed in PlantTotUnitCost_c there … it saved as [object Object]?
Having never seen this on the Data Rules page, I’m wondering what happens if you create a new layer and do the minimum necessary to build this Data Rule (i.e., create the DataView and then the Data Rule) - see if it works on a fresh layer
Or create a new Data Rule in the current layer.
That is to say: this screen is clearly not performing as expected, maybe a “turn it off and on again” approach can clear the error
