Subject: [Vantage] Posting your company to a call number
Diane,
This is an old post I sent in August, but I thought it may be worth
sending again. I would like to see Epicor change their logic.
Meike
How NOT to try to add your name and how to try to add
your name to a call number from another company.
How NOT to:
Do not go to the Epicor support website. When you drill
down to where you search for a call number, you can ONLY access those
generated by your own company. This seemed the most logical place to go
and I am baffled we cannot at least view and add our name to other
company's call numbers.
How to:
1) I called support after the above yielded no results. You can
add your name over the phone and have a call number posted to your
company that is linked to the original call number.
2) You can e-mail Tech Support. I did not have an address handy
and so this was not my first choice. Maybe someone can post the e-mail
address we should use for those of us who do not communicate on a
regular basis with Epicor.
Thanks,
Meike
