Predictive search on part interferes with order entry in 2024.2?

New problem since the upgrade last night, when entering a new sales order line and entering the part, if I enter the price then save, it reverts to 0. It still reverts to 0 even if I change the price AGAIN and press save AGAIN. If I go out of the order and back into it, then it will let me save the price.

We have a predictive search on part. When I delete this, problem goes away. What the heck?? Anybody else have predictive search on part and using kinetic order entry?

I was able to reproduce the problem in base (no kinetic layers), in both the client and the browser. I didn’t bother testing classic because why. I’m sure it would work fine there.

We are seeing an issue with our classic UI Pack Slip Predictive search. Users scan in a sales order number and the cursor moves to Part Field - Predictive Search provides list of parts. we are scared that if shipping is not careful they could click on the wrong part. Is there a way to stop predictive search on an interface i.e. Pack Slip or maybe all together for a User?

We haven’t seen that. Been entering orders all day okay. but we do NOT have predictive search turned on. (Not even sure HOW to turn that on, to be honest).

Can you turn that feature off and see if the issue goes away?

Yes there is a checkbox for all occurences. If you don’t check it, it won’t show up on all the screens where that field exists.

Yes that’s what I did, I deleted the predictive search and the problem went away which leads me to believe that is the source of the problem.
