HI

Is there any way to print all the attachements together.

Example in quote, job module, we can add dwg, doc, excel documents
but they don't show up on first screen what we want to do is when we
click on print that attachments should be printed also or any other
alternative way anybody knows. This is critical for us because we
would like to attach all the quality instructions, master setup
sheets with job or machine but does not look feasible to print one by
one .

Please advise me.

A lot of if's but if you use document management (AutoVue) when you say VIEW
a document you can BATCH select all of the other documents in that folder
and print them. In our case we do this for AutoCad Drawings.

I tried to install that but asks for a serial no. is it something we
have to buy sepeartely?

Yes. It is a seperate module. When we purchased it it was called 'Document
Management Pro' and cost $500/user. But there are other far less expensive
products to open/view multiple file formats such as QuickView form JASC for
about $40. AutoVue for us gives selected users access to viewing CAD
drawings. Depending on your CAD requirements (what system you use) there
may well be other cheaper viewers for that as well. We also convert many
documents (quality instructions. procedures) to PDF and use free Acrobat
Reader from Vantage. Not sure if there is a solution there for the question
about multiple printing.
