Problems printing with Intermec PC4

Someone in this group helped me out with a similar issue - thanks

Hope this works for you....

Open report in Crystal and get the section expert running.
Look at each section from the report header on downward (click on it
to make it turn blue) Watch the tabs on the right side - you will see
one say Layout when you find the correct section (Detail??) Click the
layout tab and see what size the section is set to be... Adjust as
necessary.

At Epicor's recommendation, we have purchased the PC4 printer.
Unforuntately we cannot get our tags to print to this printer. Epicor
support won't help and say call crystal - thanks. The inspection tags
for example, seem to print out (the visible size of the data) on paper
at 3.5 inch by 1.5 inches (when printing to 8.5x11) , yet printing to
4x4 fails. Not sure why since the visible data is quite small. We've
installed the printer on the server and tried it from there - setting
the 4x4 paper size in the page setup (we defined a custom 4x4 size for
intermec). Then we come out of page/printer setup in crystal and
immediately makes the report invalid and you cant see anything. Crystal
then gives a message "The page size was not large enough to format the
contents of an object inthe report". If we go 4x6.5, then it seems to
work, but yet the visible data on our report is about 3.5x1.5. Ive
tried clicking around in crystal as well on the previewed report to see
if anything extends beneath the bottom of the visible data but nothing
is there. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Adam
I find that when printing labels that you need to set the margins to 0
on all four sides.

Thanks,
Adam

[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
tried that already, thanks though. The report itself is running large
for some reason - ie theres invisible space being taken up
somewhere... and lots of it (Several inches)
I can reproduce the problem by printing to 8.5x11 and then decreasing
the page size. it bombs below about 6.5 inches in height, but the
last text (which is the part number bar code) ends at about 1.5
inches.. .so don't know why it thinks there is 5 more inches to the
report that it needs.
