Progress Patch Level

Remember that the patch is specific to the version of Progress you install. You can't apply a 9.1 patch to a 9.0 install, and vice versa.

I am currently preparing to take my first look at 4.00 and I have noticed
that there are two Progress patches available for download, 9.1a26 and
9.0b44. For those users currently on 4.00 is there a preferred patch level
or is the most current patch (9.1a26) stable? I would like to bring the
install up to the current patch levels immediately after installation and I
am looking for some advice.

You must have Progress 9.1 installed to install the 9.1a26 patch. I
found out the hard way.
The 9.1a26 patch is for Vantage 5.0
9.0b44 is for Vantage 4.0.
And no I don't have Vantage 5.0.................
