I think that's a good assumption. I have applied Service Pack 1 and the
Version file here shows "PROGRESS Version 9.1D0100".
FWIW.

Thanks. I had already checked that file and all it says is "9.1d" with no
reference to a patch level or sub-version level. So I guess I'll assume I
have no patches. 130MB will take me about 22 minutes to download under
normal circumstances but with all the straming video news sites people are
using around here (despite warnings not to) it might take hours. But I've
seen too many funny issues in 5.20 that really could be Progress to not
consider applying the patch.

I agree, Mark, Meco Inc. seems pretty definite about this. I too would like
to know why.
Regarding your current patch level for Progress, you should be able to find
it at \Epic52\Progress\Version.

Scott

What specifically does this patch provide? You sound pretty definite about
needing to install this. Why? Has Epicor support advised anything
particular that this addresses? Also, where do I find the current patch
level I am running?
Thanks,
