Anyone out there with a solution for scheduling projects? We currently use Microsoft Project and manually enter dates, etc. into Epicor. We’re looking at integrating MS Project with Kinetic, or possibly using an alternative to MS Project—something with an API for easier integration. Would love to hear what other project people are doing.

This feature lets you export a project from Epicor, import and make changes in MS Project, then import back into Epicor. Unfortunately it does not let you add tasks and milestones. What we need to do is to take an existing MS Project file and import it into Epicor.
I’m not aware of anything out of the box. You might export from Project in various formats and use that as a source to an Epicor Function that would create the Project, Tasks, etc if there is a mapping that you could rely on.
