Wanted to throw this out there for anyone else to discover, since I didn’t find anything about it.
Discovered today that the Kinetic version of Purchase Advisor (confirmed on versions 2024.1.9 & 2024.2.8) does not indicate nor show any Approved Suppliers for a part when the approved suppliers are set at the Part Class (with none assigned directly to the part). The Classic screen on 2024.1.9 does display the data as expected.
I’ve got a Case open with Epicor with this information now being shared with development. Will update here if this ends up as a Problem.
Have you came across in Purchase Advisor that the part and site will load no problem but the part description is blank?
It is only one single user who cannot get part description to load but if I log that person into a different computer it populates no problem.
I did ensure that Microsoft Edge was up to date (we are using the web URL for our Kinetic) and seems to work but wondering if this has happened to you as well?
I personally have not. If you haven’t already, maybe try clearing the cache of the browser where you’re seeing this behavior, since it doesn’t sound like it’s happening elsewhere.
