Who wrote those sentences? If you haven’t been reached out through… who writes like that?
It has been detected a failure…

Back to the topic of clear communication. ![]()
I got the same email. We’re in the public cloud.
If you click on the “view maintenance” button it says Kinetic PRIVATE Cloud.
So we (Public) shouldn’t have gotten the email in the first place.

@discobot fix it!
Here’s a clear breakdown of the grammar, phrasing, and style issues in the text:
Major Issues (should be fixed):
- First sentence – awkward and grammatically off:
- Original: “It has been detected a failure during the latest OS patching round.”
- Better: “A failure has been detected during the latest OS patching round.” (or “We have detected a failure…”)
- Second paragraph – missing article and awkward phrasing:
- Original: “The failure happened on several machines, different in scope.”
- Better: “The failure occurred on several machines with varying scope.” or “The failure affected several machines and varied in scope.”
- Tense inconsistency & clarity:
- Original: “The failure has been corrected, but it would be necessary to push…”
- Better: “The failure has been corrected; however, it is still necessary to push the latest security package to the machines that were skipped during the latest OS patching round.”
- Awkward conditional sentence:
- Original: “If you haven’t been reached out through a different channel…”
- Better: “If you have not been contacted through another channel…”
- Redundant / unclear phrasing:
- “this maintenance window would be applicable to you” → sounds very stiff.
- Better: “this maintenance window applies to you.”
- Minor flow / professionalism issues:
- “but downtime would be noticed during the reboot of machines.” → “but you may experience brief downtime during the machine reboot.”
