It has to be. I would guess the logic is based on receiving to a bin and since technically there is nothing on hand until the inspection is cleared there is nothing to trigger the initial PO Line logic.

I would guess if you test without inspection set for the supplier or part class and tried it would work but we;ll see

Just occurred to me though that our parts are inspection required & I wonder if this interrupts the process triggers somehow (particularly on that initial receipt... Having them in the pending inspection queue may be our issue).

I seem to recall you have to do a receipt (when below Min) to bring it above min - & then when it again drops below min it automagically splits of a new release in the way you have defined. (That's 'priming the process' as described to me by people in and out of epicor fairly consistently over the years).

I have as well. I set it up about 4 years ago at another company and we ended up not using it and am now just trying it again. I created the PO line and added two releases, which showed up on the kanban monitor along with the supplier requests. About the only thing I think it will do is update the PO release date, not sure. Otherwise, it just appears informational as to what PO lines are open

I've been trying to get this to work for 4 yrs to no avail (whse and bin purch kanbans). On 8.403.9xx, bin kanban set up refuses to acccept the linked PO line. Whse appears to allow set up - but trigger conditions trigger no split of ne release.

There is a very specific 'prime the pump' series of steps/conditions documented to get it working - but it has never worked for us.

I have applications for this across our business so if you make any headway, I'd apprecciate a share.
