I've got one report I did in Access that duplicates what Vantage does.
It uses a procedure to generate running subtotal requirements through
each level of the BOM.

I also developed one that drives material requirements straight from the
Sales Order (as long as it has a JobBom or PartBom to pull the details
from). We've been able to save hours by not having to manually balance
the open jobs to make the output correct.
