We keep the part ticked purchased, but ensure it has a BOM attached.
Then, when the decision is made to manufacture rather than purchase, it
is a simple matter of raising a job to make the part for stock. I can't
see there ever being a position where the Vantage system gives you both
options, as the system has no decision making process to determine which
method you feel like using at the time. If you want to have the option
for flexibility, it needs to be managed externally to Vantage.

I have been trying to set it to both within a single plant, but I am
unable to. The only way I can see to do this is to have a Virtual
