Hello Fellow Vantage Users,
Commercial Tool and Die would like to ask the users group their opinion on some enhancements that we would like to submit to epicor.
This request is in regards to an added calendar button on all screens.
Commercial Tool and Die would like to see a calendar button on all vantage screens. The reason we would like this is that, on screens were there is an active date field you can right mouse click on an active date field and have the calendar come up. Most screens don't have this option because the date field is inactive. We feel it would be easier and more user friendly to access the calendar if there was a button on all screens for a calendar. This would solve the problem of having to go some were else in vantage to find an active date field.
This request is in regards to the Data collection\Shop floor module.
Commercial Tool and Die would like the option in company configuration to use the 3 tabs on the work center screen (Current work, Available work, and Expected work.) the way they are or combine the 3 tabs into one tab. The reason we would like this change is because only 85% of our scheduled jobs are order dependent and we need the flex ability to have the jobs listed in one folder. We are having problems when we go out of sequence order, with our employees finding the correct assembly and operation. We feel this would help us with this problem.
This request is in regards to the visual scheduling.
It pertains to the visual scheduling board, although the visual scheduling board is basically a big calendar it does not show actual days of the week and weekends with out right mouse clicking on the date field and bring up the colander. We feel it would be a great enhancement if the visual scheduling board would show in a column format with a color reference, the days of the week in one color and another for the weekend days. Or have it set up by company working days, one color for weekdays and one color for weekends . Also holiday's could be in another color, this would give you a head's up on up coming holidays.
Commercial Tool and Die would appreciate any response in favor of these changes, or disagreement in favor of a no change. If you are in favor of the change, we would like to submit your companies user name so that we can get as much support logged onto our request as we can get.
