Thanks guys!  Epicor was not forthcoming with that information.

I am running into an issue with 50% of my sales guys not being able to run quote entry they receive a Application error object reference not set to an isnstance of an object
This is then followed by a second application error Key not found Parameter name:key followed once again by the first error then the quote screen will open up look like it will work until you go to print then you get the same 3 errors again.

I have checked their personalizations on the customization manager and all have passed to 9.05.700A I have also replaced the client directory and deleted the customization xmls from the Programdata folder in Windows 7 any other ideas on what might cause this especially since it is not everybody.
I've seen it be as simple as opening the customization in developer mode and saving the customization as a new name. Update your menu maintenance with the new customization name and try again. Hope that works for you!

I finally found the right guy at support that gave me the answer. In case anyone else is wondering....

Windows 7 - Control Panel | Display | Medium - 125% will cause this error. Change to Smaller - 100%

Windows XP - Control Panel | Display | Settings | Advanced | General Tab. DPI setting should be on Normal(96 DPI).

And this reliably fixes the problem?

If so, that's kinda terrible...employees with less than ideal eyesight like to run the larger DPI, but if that just causes random errors, it seems like something needs to get fixed in the Epicode.

Hello,
We got a one off for 701.  Not sure if that is any help though.  SCR is 97161.

Cheers
Simon Hall

We did have a one off compiled for 701, it was a file that we had to replace on the client.  You can ask for that, especially if your user needs to have the medium font - would think you could run into accessibility issues if you insist they change their font size.  We are testing 702a and I just confirmed yesterday that this is indeed resolved in 702a.
